Resilience training for apprentices

Challenge and goal
An effective 3-day resilience program was designed, implemented, and evaluated in a co-creation process. A total of around 70 learners were trained to become resilience champions. The aim of the program is to reduce sick days in the long term and to strengthen the performance and mental health of the learners. The program, which was developed specifically for learners, consists of modules that build on each other, focusing on resilience, resource and strength orientation, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and feedback skills. Practice-oriented methods and strategies were taught, enabling learners to acquire essential key competencies such as resilience and self-management for the world of work 4.0. The transfer assignment enabled participants to integrate what they had learned into their everyday working lives.
